Rahul has been working in the injectable device drug delivery industry for close to 27 years. He started his career as a trainee in 1991 working with his father at Top Syringe Manufacturing Company in Mumbai, India, a joint venture with Top Japan. In 2003, he joined Kaisha Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, now Schott Kaisha, a joint venture between Schott Germany and Kaisha, India.

As Vice President Refillable Syringes and Cartridges, was instrumental in setting up India’s first and only Sterile Prefill Syringe system (PFS) plant; worked also to introduce the concept of Sterile Ready to Use or Fill, Vials and Cartridges to Indian pharma companies. He was also one of the three members chosen as Global Specialists for Schott Pharmaceutical systems worldwide for Sterile Prefill Syringe systems.

Since 2011, he has been with Datwyler Sealing Solutions, as Site Director responsible for the set-up and operations of our new plant in MIDC SEZ, Satara, India. After successfully setting up and commissioning the India operations, he is now responsible for Datwyler India Vice President India.

He also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of SGD Pharma, India.
